Dara Glass House

We are located on Kharar Road in Mundi Kharar. Our shop is on Bo Badala Road, which is near Labhu Sweets and also quite close to Dashmesh Public School. Because of the school, we see a lot of kids and parents walking by every morning and afternoon. It makes the area feel quite lively. Inside Dara Glass House, there are racks of glass everywhere. You have to be steady on your feet when you walk around. We spend a lot of our time measuring and cutting glass to the right size for whoever needs it. It is a very practical kind of job. We have an old workbench that is covered in scratches from years of use. The shop isn't very big, so we have to keep things organized or we wouldn't be able to move. Sometimes the traffic on Kharar Road gets backed up, and we just watch the cars crawl by from our front window. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep us company. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the world, just a reliable one for the people in Kharar. When we finish a piece of work, we wrap it up carefully so it doesn't break on the way home. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and seeing the neighbors every day. We close up when the sun goes down.
