We are based at the SMST building within the IIT Kharagpur campus in West Bengal. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it’s a nice area. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a small space where we keep our equipment and books. There isn't much room for anything else. We are just a bunch of people who enjoy working on projects together. Kharagpur is a bit isolated, so we rely on each other a lot. The SMST building has its own vibe, very quiet and serious. We don't have a lot of visitors from outside the campus. Most of our interactions are with the people already here. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just get the work done as it comes. Sometimes we stay in the office for a really long time and forget what time it is. The tea stalls nearby are where we spend our breaks. It’s not a fancy life. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the best. We just want to do decent work and stay busy. The humidity here can be tough, but we are used to it by now. It’s a simple routine. We show up, we work, and we go home. It feels honest. No corporate polish, just regular people in West Bengal trying to get things done. Nothing more to it.
