Mohan L. & Co.

We’ve been here in Mathurakati for a while now. Most people around Nimpura know where we are, just past the post office. It’s a quiet spot in West Midnapur, and the days usually go by pretty steady. Mohan L. & Co. is basically just us working through the piles of paperwork and handling whatever comes through the door. The weather gets really humid here during the summer months, which makes the afternoons feel a bit slow. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s not a fancy setup. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the desk is a bit wobbly, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with local folks who stop by to talk or settle things. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the trucks go by heading toward the main district. We’ve got a small fan that keeps us cool enough. It’s just a regular place where work gets done day in and day out. Nothing too complicated or fast-paced. We keep our files organized as best as we can. It’s just how things are run here in this part of the world. People know where to find us if they need anything. We’ve lived here for years, so we know the neighbors well too. It’s home for us, even if it’s just a simple office.
