L. K. Baskey & Co.

We are out here in Sanjoal, right by the Kali Mandir in West Mindapur. It's a quiet enough spot most days, though you hear the temple bells pretty clearly when things get busy there. Most of us have been working at L. K. Baskey & Co. for a while now. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to get the paperwork sorted and meet people when they drop by. We spend a lot of time just dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the weather gets really heavy, especially when the rains start, and the road gets a bit messy, but we manage. You can usually find one of us sitting out front in the mornings before it gets too hot. We don't have a big fancy setup or anything like that. Just a simple desk, some old chairs, and a lot of files that need organizing. People around here know where we are because of the temple landmark. If you miss the turn, you usually end up heading further into the village. We try to keep things moving as best we can. It’s mostly just us doing the daily tasks, making sure everything is recorded right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out under the tree outside. It's not a fast-paced life, but it keeps us busy enough through the week. We just get on with it.
