Educational Consultancy

We are set up in Kaushallya, right across from the Mangoliki Lodge. It’s a decent spot, and the lodge is a good landmark for the students who come to see us. Our office is mostly filled with stacks of papers, college brochures, and forms that need filling out. It can get a bit overwhelming when admission season starts, and the chairs in the waiting area are rarely empty. We spend a lot of time talking to young people about what they want to study and where they might go. It’s a lot of listening and then looking through lists of requirements. We aren’t a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a local place where you can just sit and talk. Sometimes the parents are more nervous than the students, so we spend time explaining the basic steps to them. We try to keep track of all the different deadlines, which isn't always easy when things keep changing. It’s a lot of desk work and phone calls to different institutions. The neighborhood is usually quite lively, and there’s always someone walking by the lodge. We just do our best to point people in the right direction without making it more complicated than it needs to be. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening here in Kaushallya, especially when there are a lot of applications to finish.
