Binoy Ghosh & Co. is situated right over by IIT Kharagpur. Being so close to the campus means there is always some kind of energy around, even if we are tucked away towards the Talbagicha side. It is a busy part of Paschim Midnapur. Our place isn't very large, but it serves us well for what we need to do. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready and checking the mail that comes through the Talbagicha post office. You can hear the sounds of the town from our windows, and it’s a familiar noise after all these years. The people working here are locals mostly. We know the shortcuts around the district and which days the traffic gets bad near the institute. It’s a practical workspace. There are old files on the shelves and a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days but still keep the air moving. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone like that to write about us. It’s just us doing our jobs. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s just how it is. We’ve become a small part of the landscape here. People know the name Binoy Ghosh & Co. around these parts, not because of ads, but because we’ve been standing on this ground for a long time.
