Hari Ram Syal And Company has been sitting on Railway Road for a long time now. We are quite easy to find because we’re right near the Central Bank of India, which is a bit of a landmark for everyone in this neighborhood. The street is always loud with the sound of the trains nearby and people rushing to catch their commute. Our shop is a bit older, with heavy doors and a lot of history in the walls. We don't have a modern glass storefront or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves of stock and desks where we handle the paperwork. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the area and the people who walk past our doors every morning. We don’t go in for big advertisements or shouting about what we do. People usually find us because they know where the Central Bank is and they see our name as they walk by. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days, and we spend a lot of time just managing the flow of people coming in and out. There isn’t much mystery to how we run things; we just show up, open the shutters, and get to work until it’s time to go home. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day.
