Kamdhenu International

Our setup is on Malerkotla Road. It’s a long stretch of road and we are just one of the buildings along it. At Kamdhenu International, we don’t have a flashy entrance. It’s just a gate and a yard. We do a lot of different things here, mostly involving trade and moving goods. The trucks come and go at odd hours. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, so it gets muddy when it rains. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers. It’s usually dusty because of the road traffic outside. We don’t use much technology, just the basics to keep track of what’s coming in. The staff has been with us for a long time. We know each other's families. It feels more like a house than a company sometimes. We have tea together every afternoon under the shade of the big tree. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home. People stop by for directions sometimes since we are right on the road. We don't mind. The work is steady but not fast. We take our time to make sure the counts are right. If there’s a mistake, we just fix it. No big meetings or anything. It’s just how we operate. We just keep our heads down and work. The road outside is noisy, but inside it is fine.
