Khanna Nurshing Home

Khanna Nurshing Home is situated on G.t. Road. It’s a very busy spot because of all the trucks and cars constantly passing by. You can hear the horns honking throughout the day, but we don’t really notice it anymore. The nursing home has been a part of this road for quite a while. It’s a simple brick building. We have several rooms for patients to stay in while they are getting better. The furniture is basic, mostly metal beds and some small wooden tables. We don’t have a big team, just a few nurses and doctors who take turns on the shifts. The front entrance has a small step that you have to watch out for. We have a big ledger at the front where we write down names and times. It’s not a high-tech operation with screens everywhere. We prefer doing things the old way because it’s what we know. The kitchen in the back makes simple meals for the people staying with us. Sometimes the tea is a bit too sweet, but nobody seems to mind much. We see a lot of local people from the nearby villages who travel along G.t. Road. It’s a convenient place for them to stop. We don’t do any advertising or have a big sign with lights. Just the name on the wall. We keep the floors swept and the doors open for whoever needs us. It's a plain place, but we keep it running every day of the week.
