Our yard is right on Jarg Road. It’s easy to find because of all the metal stacked up. Capital Steel And Allied Industry isn't a place for suits. We’re usually in heavy boots and covered in a bit of grit by the end of the shift. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. We deal with steel in all its forms. It’s heavy, hard work, and we don’t try to sugarcoat it. The office is just a small building near the gate where we keep the records. It gets hot in the summer and a bit drafty when it rains, but it serves its purpose. We have a few old trucks that have seen better days, but they still run. The guys who work here are a tough bunch, but they're good people. We’ve been on Jarg Road for years and we’ve seen the traffic get worse, but we aren't going anywhere. We don't have a website that looks like a movie trailer. We just have a phone that rings and people who need steel. We handle the orders as they come in and try not to get too far behind. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't need any fancy slogans. We just cut the steel, load the trucks, and get on with the next task. It's what we do and we do it well enough.
