Shreeji Hardware & Paints

If you walk near the Jain Mandir in Rajpura, you will see us at Plot No.- 20. Shreeji Hardware & Paints has been at this spot for a good number of years. We have stacks of pipes and buckets of paint sitting everywhere. It is a bit of a maze inside the shop. We know where every bolt and screw is hidden even if it looks a bit messy to anyone else. People come in looking for a specific shade of blue or a tool they lost in their garden. We spend a lot of time opening cans and showing people how the colors look in the natural light. Rajpura is a busy neighborhood so we get a lot of walk-ins. The shop floor is always a bit dusty from the cement bags. We do not wear suits or uniforms here. It is mostly just old clothes that we do not mind getting a bit of paint or oil on. The counter is worn down from years of sliding heavy items across the top. We stay open pretty late because someone always forgets a wrench or a nail in the middle of a project. It is a simple life selling hardware. We do not have fancy displays. Just shelves full of metal and plastic parts. We talk to the contractors and the local homeowners who are trying to fix a leak. It feels like a good community to be in every day.
