Maa Shri Traders

Maa Shri Traders is located in Sendhwa, which is part of the Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh. We are positioned very close to the Badi Dujashan Durga Mata Mandir, so we get to hear the temple bells and the music during the festivals, which is quite nice. Being near the temple means there are always people walking by, especially on the weekends when families come out for prayers. Sendhwa is a dusty town but it has a lot of heart, and our shop is just a small part of the local scene there. We deal with various trading items and our storage area is usually full of bags and boxes. It is just the few of us working here, and we usually start the day by cleaning the front of the shop and saying hello to the neighbors. The weather in Barwani can get very dry, so we drink a lot of water and stay in the shade as much as we can during the midday heat. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are and coming by when they need something. The shop has been in the same spot for years and the locals know us by name. It is a quiet way to make a living, just keeping the shelves stocked and waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We like being near the Mandir because it feels like a peaceful part of the town.
