So we are over in Karve Nagar, mostly dealing with the Alphonso mangoes when the season hits. It gets pretty hectic around here during that time of year. The smell of mangoes is everywhere once the shipments arrive. Karve Nagar is a good spot for this because it’s easy for people to find us. We spend a lot of time checking the fruit to make sure things look okay. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving stuff around the space we have. There’s not much of an office, just a place to store and sell. When the season is over, things quiet down a lot. But while it’s happening, it feels like we never stop moving. We deal with the heat just like everyone else. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the main roads, which is a bit of a headache. But that’s just how the mango business goes. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders get sorted. It’s local, it’s a bit messy at times with all the straw and crates, but we like the work. There isn't much more to it than that, just getting fruit to people in Pune.
