Janki Oil Mills

You can find Janki Oil Mills right in the middle of Gol Bazar at number 14. It’s a noisy place most of the time because the machinery we use for pressing the oil makes a fair bit of sound. We’ve been in this spot for years. Gol Bazar is always moving, and we are right there in the thick of it. The floor gets a bit slippery sometimes, even though we try to keep it clean. It’s just the nature of working with oil. We handle a lot of seeds and heavy bags every day. It’s hard work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. We don't have a big office or a fancy reception area. It's just the mill and the workspace where we get things done. People come by to pick up their orders or just to see what we have ready. The smell of the pressed seeds is something you get used to after a while. We just keep the machines running and make sure everything is flowing like it should. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend time on big speeches about what we do. We just do it. If you need us, come down to Gol Bazar. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s our living. That’s just how it is here. It keeps us busy and keeps the lights on.
