Inali Foundation

We are located at House No. 50 in Sarvodaya Colony, which is a nice little spot in Khandwa. We are right near the temple, so we get to hear the bells every morning and evening. It’s actually quite peaceful most of the time. The foundation isn't run out of a glass office building or anything like that. It’s just this house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It feels more like a home than an office, which we prefer. We have a few rooms set aside for our files and a place for people to sit when they come to talk to us. Khandwa can get really hot, so we usually have the windows open and the fans running full blast. Sometimes a stray dog will wander into the yard, or we’ll spend twenty minutes talking to a neighbor over the fence. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big team of experts. It’s just us, the people who live here and care about what happens in the colony. We don't use a lot of fancy technology either. A lot of our work is still done with pen and paper because it just feels more reliable. We’re not trying to be the biggest or the most famous group. We just want to do right by the people who live around us. It takes a lot of effort, but we enjoy the routine.
