Our place, Sethi Seeds India Pvt. Ltd., is located at No. 57 Bhavani Mata Road, not far from the Sani Mandir. It is a familiar spot for most locals around here. Dealing in seeds means our rhythm is mostly set by the seasons. When planting time approaches, the office gets incredibly busy with farmers coming in and out. We have bags of different varieties stacked in the back, and the air usually has that dry, earthy scent. It is not a high-tech corporate office; it is more of a place where people sit down, have a glass of water, and talk about soil and rain. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what we are selling because we know how much a bad batch can hurt a family's harvest. The desks are often covered in samples and ledger books. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and keep working by the natural light. We have been at this for a while, and the neighbors all know us. It is a straightforward business. We do not spend much on fancy furniture or decorations. Most of the investment goes into the seeds and making sure they are stored in a cool, dry spot so they do not spoil before they get to the fields. It is a lot of lifting and counting, but it is what we know how to do best for the community.
