Heritage Farm

Our manufacturing unit is over on Amona Road in Khandola. We are part of the Ecocity Packaging area. It is an industrial spot but it is not too overwhelming. We focus on the packaging side of things for the farm. The building is pretty standard for this area. We have some machines running most of the day and it gets a bit noisy inside. You have to shout a little to be heard over the equipment sometimes. We spend our time making sure the materials are cut right and the boxes are sturdy. It is more about the physical work than sitting behind a desk. The road outside, Amona Road, sees a lot of trucks going back and forth. We have a loading area where we spend a good chunk of our morning. It is a practical setup. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes getting the orders ready. Sometimes we run into issues with the power or the machines, and then we have to stop and fix things. It is just the reality of running a unit like this. We have been at this Khandola site for a bit now and we know the neighbors. We just keep to ourselves and focus on getting the packaging out the door. It is steady work and it keeps the lights on for us.
