Sri Venkata Ramana General Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at 8 1 228 on Yellandu Road. It is a typical engineering spot where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a machine running. Sri Venkata Ramana General Engineering Works has been around this area for a while, and we’ve become a familiar sight for the people who travel this road regularly. The shop is open to the air mostly, which is good for the heat but means we get plenty of dust from the road. We don't have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. Usually, you’ll find us right there on the floor working on whatever repair or fabrication job came in that morning. People bring us all sorts of things that need fixing, and we just take a look and see what can be done. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the piles of scrap metal get a bit high in the corner, but we clear it out when we get a chance. We use a lot of hand tools and some older machines that still run perfectly fine after all these years. Yellandu Road is a busy stretch, so there is never a dull moment. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things done so people can get back to their own work. We also keep a stash of basic materials like steel rods and sheets ready so we don't have to wait around when a job comes in.
