Khammam can get really hot in the summer, so our office is usually humming with the sound of the fans or the air conditioner. We handle a lot of packages and shipping stuff here. It’s not a huge warehouse, just a decent-sized place where we keep track of everything going out and coming in. The road outside isn't always the best, especially when it rains and things get a bit muddy, but we manage. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. People in the neighborhood often stop by just to ask about their deliveries or to drop something off for a relative far away. We don’t have a fancy website or a huge marketing team. Most of our business comes from people just knowing we are here on this street. The office walls are a bit plain, mostly covered with calendars and delivery schedules pinned up. There’s usually a stack of boxes near the door waiting for the next truck to arrive. It’s straightforward work. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and stay until the last manifest is checked off. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do here in Andhra Pradesh. We just try to get the jobs done without making a big fuss about it every day.
