You can find us at 4-1-82 in the Guttalabazar area of Khammam. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of an older building, but it works for what we need. As part of Singareni Collieries, we’re mostly involved with the administrative side of things here. Guttalabazar is a lively place, always something going on in the streets. Our office is pretty modest. We have a few desks, some old cupboards full of records, and not much else. We don’t see the point in spending money on fancy decor when the work is what matters. People from the mines and the town come by to settle their business. It’s a straightforward environment. We don’t use corporate jargon or try to act bigger than we are. We’re just a local branch doing our part. The heat in Khammam can be something else in May, but we just keep the doors open for a breeze. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and ask a question. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media person. We just have our names on the door and our work to show for it. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the ledgers, but we know where everything is. We just try to stay organized and keep the coal business moving.
