Sri Bhavana Daba Hotel

Running the Sri Bhavana Daba Hotel in Raghunadhapalem Village is a lot of work that people do not see. We are out here in the mandal, right on the edge of the district. The day starts very early when we have to light the stoves and start prep for the food. There is always a smell of onions frying or spices in the air. It is a basic place with wooden benches and fans that keep the flies away. We get a lot of truck drivers and people traveling through the village who are looking for a hot meal that does not cost too much. The floor is concrete and we wash it down several times a day because it gets dirty from the boots coming in. We do not have a menu printed on fancy paper; usually, we just tell people what we have cooked for the day. It gets very hot near the kitchen area, so we spend a lot of time outside in the shade when there are no customers. My family helps with the serving and the cleaning. We do not use any ready-made stuff; we just cook like we do at home. It is a simple life, and it can be tiring to be on your feet for fifteen hours, but we are used to the rhythm of the road and the people who travel it. We just want to make sure no one leaves here with an empty stomach.
