Skill Development Society

Skill Development Society is over at 5-5-270/2D in Sambhani Nagar, Khammam. We are right in the middle of a busy neighborhood where there is always noise from the shops and the people passing by. Our building is a simple one, and we have a couple of rooms where we do our thing. It is not a high-tech center with fancy gadgets. We have the basics like chairs, some desks, and a few old whiteboards that have seen a lot of use. People from across Khammam come to us when they want to learn something new or get better at a craft. It is heartening to see the variety of people who walk through our doors. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It is just a small group of us who handle the teaching and the paperwork. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time just talking to people about what they need and how we can help them out. It is a very down-to-earth environment. There is a small bakery nearby where we get some snacks in the evening. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just helping out where we can in our little corner of Sambhani Nagar.
