Shifa Clinic

Shifa Clinic is located out in Budidagadda in the Jainoor area. It is a quiet part of the world, and our clinic is a simple building that blends in with the others on the street. We don't have a big flashing sign or anything like that. People in Jainoor just know we are here when they need us. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, so we have a thick mat at the door for people to wipe their boots. Inside, the rooms are simple with basic furniture that we have had for years. We have a small table where we keep the register and a few chairs for people to sit. It can get a bit lonely in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is high and everyone is indoors, but then someone will walk in with a child or an elderly relative, and we get back to work. We spend a lot of time listening to people's stories while we check their health. There is no rush here like you find in the city. We take our time to make sure we understand what is wrong. The walls have a few marks on them where we moved the cabinets around last year, but nobody seems to mind. It is just a local spot where people feel comfortable coming in for a chat and some help with their medical problems. It is a good life here in Budidagadda.
