Sairam Electrical & Hardware is right on the Main Road in Naikanigudem Village. If you’re passing through Kusumanchi Mandal in the Khammam Dist. 507157, you can’t really miss the spot at D. No. 2-173/A. It’s a typical village shop with stuff stacked up to the ceiling. We’ve got wires, tools, and all sorts of hardware bits and pieces. It’s often dusty because the road is right there and the trucks kick up a lot of grit. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so sometimes we have to dig through a box to find a specific bolt or a fuse. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We know most of the people around here by name. They come in when something breaks at home or they need a new lightbulb. We aren't trying to compete with those massive hardware chains in the city. This is just a local shop for local needs. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, and we sit in the dark for a bit until it comes back. It's quiet then. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that squeaks a little. It’s an honest way to make a living. People know where to find us if they need help with their wiring or a leaky tap. We’ve been here at 2-173/A for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. We just stay right here.
