Sai Ganesh Metals

Sai Ganesh Metals is out in Laxmipuram village, which is part of the Burgampahad mandal. It’s a rural area, so things are a bit different than the city. We deal with various types of metal here. The yard is usually full of different pieces of scrap or new stock piled up. It’s a heavy job, and you have to be careful where you step. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the trolley or just by hand if they aren’t too big. The sound of metal clanging is the main thing you hear all day. I’ve been running this for a while now. It’s a basic setup with a small office area where I keep the ledgers and the weighing scale. It gets very hot under the tin roof in the summer, so we try to do the heaviest work in the early morning. People from the village come by to sell bits of old metal or to see if we have something they can use for their own repairs. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our location here in Laxmipuram. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We focus on the weight and the type of metal, and that’s about it. Dealing with the dust and the rust is just part of being in this trade. We just keep the yard as organized as we can and handle the customers as they come, one by one throughout the day.
