M/S. Adilakshmi Poultry Form

Our poultry farm is tucked away in Ravichettu Thanda Village, right at Survey Number 461. It is out in the Kusumanchi Mandal area, which is pretty quiet compared to the bigger towns. M/S. Adilakshmi Poultry Form is where we spend all our hours, starting way before the sun even comes up. The birds start making noise early, and that’s usually our signal to get moving. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We have to check the feed, make sure the water is flowing right, and keep the sheds clean. The village roads are a bit narrow, so getting supplies in can be a slow process sometimes. Our neighbors are mostly other farmers, so everyone knows what we’re doing here. It gets very dusty during the summer months, and we spend a lot of time trying to keep the temperatures down for the birds. It’s not a complicated business, but it takes a lot of patience. We don’t have a big office or anything. Just the sheds and a small place to store the bags of grain. Most days, we are just covered in dust and feathers, trying to finish the chores before the evening sets in. It’s a simple life out here in the district, far from the city noise. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure everything stays healthy and moving along as it should. There is always something to fix or clean.
