Kisan Earth Movers

Our yard is over at house number 1-6-95/10E in the Jublipura area of Khammam. Being in the Urban Mandal means there is always some kind of construction or digging happening nearby. We keep the earth movers parked out back when they are not out on a job site somewhere in the district. These machines are big and they require a lot of looking after, so you will often find us with grease on our hands fixing a hydraulic line or cleaning out the tracks. It is noisy work when the engines start up, and the smell of diesel is just part of the everyday routine here. We spend our days coordinating where the loaders and excavators need to go next. Sometimes a job is just down the road and other times we have to haul the equipment out to the far edges of Khammam. The ground here can be quite hard, so the machines take a lot of beating. We have a small office space where we keep the keys and the maintenance logs, but most of the time is spent outside in the dirt. It is a practical business for people who do not mind getting a bit dirty. We do not have any polished sales pitch. We just have the machines and we know how to use them to move a lot of dirt when someone needs a hole dug.
