Khammam Granite is located over in the IDA area of Khanapuram Haveli. It is a pretty industrial spot, so there is always a lot of noise from the machines and trucks coming in and out. We have been working with stone here for years. It is a dusty job, and your boots are never really clean at the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time out in the yard looking at the blocks and making sure the cuts are coming out okay. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes all day. We deal with a lot of local builders and people who need granite for their projects. Khanapuram Haveli has changed a bit over the years, but our facility stays pretty much the same. We have the big saws running most of the day. It is a lot of manual labor and making sure the slabs do not crack. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing team. If someone needs stone, they usually just drive down to the IDA and look for us. We try to keep things straightforward. If we have the color you want, we tell you. If we do not, we do not. It is just a group of guys working with heavy rocks and trying to make a living in this part of town. It is hard work, but we are all used to it by now.
