First Step

First Step is located right in the middle of Recob Bazar. If you know the area, you know it is always crowded and loud with people buying things and motorbikes zooming past. We have been here for a bit now, tucked away in our little space. It is not a huge office, just a room where we keep our stuff and handle the daily routine. Most days start with a cup of tea while we look at what needs doing. The market wakes up early, so by the time we arrive, the street is already full of life. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Inside our place, it is a lot calmer. We have our shelves and a couple of chairs for anyone who drops by to talk. We don't have a big corporate team or fancy receptionists. It is just us. Sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard, or the internet acts up, but we manage. People come in from the bazaar, sometimes just to escape the heat for a minute. We don't mind. It is a busy life here, and we just try to keep up with the pace of the market. There isn't any secret to how we work; we just show up every day and do what is required. It is a simple way of running things, and it works for us without any unnecessary fuss or complication.
