Fancy And Genral

Our shop is called Fancy And Genral and we are located at 1-315 on the Main Road in Komararam. We are in the Yellandu area and have been serving the local people for a while now. The name comes from the fact that we sell a mix of things. On one side, we have "fancy" items like bangles, hair clips, and small gifts. On the other side, we have general household goods like soap and stationery. It is a small shop and we have things stacked up quite high to make use of the space. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item, but we usually know where we put it. The main road is always busy with tractors and motorcycles, so it can be quite loud inside. We have a simple counter at the front where we sit and talk to the customers. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from the village. We don't have a computer or any fancy billing system, just a paper notebook and a calculator. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a torch to show people the goods. It is a very basic operation and we don't have any plans to change it. We like being the place where people can pick up what they need on their way home. It is a good way to spend our days in Komararam.
