Dwarakasai Earth Movers

We are Dwarakasai Earth Movers, based out of Elchireddipalle Village, which is tucked away in Pinapaka Mandal. You can find us at H. No. 2-11. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local spot where we keep our earth-moving equipment. The Khammam district gets pretty dusty, especially when the machines are working hard on a new site. We’ve been living in this village for a long time, and the business grew out of the need for heavy lifting around here. Whether it’s clearing a patch of land for a new house or helping out with farm work, we usually have a machine ready to go. The yard is often full of grease and spare parts because maintaining these big vehicles is a full-time job in itself. My family helps out with the phone calls and the books. We don’t have a secretary; it’s usually just someone from the house answering the door. The summers are the busiest because the ground is dry, but the heat is something else. We just take it day by day. Sometimes the machines break down right when we need them, so we spend the night fixing them under a torch. It’s hard work, and your clothes are always stained with oil, but the people in the village know us and we know them. We’re just part of the local scene here, doing what we can with what we have.
