D. R. I Engineering Works

D. R. I Engineering Works is tucked away at H.No : 9-8-136 in Kothagudem. This is a working-class area and we fit right in with the rest of the neighborhood. Our workshop is filled with tools, welding gear, and pieces of metal waiting to be shaped. It’s often loud here because there’s always someone cutting or grinding something. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the shop and find whoever isn't wearing a welding mask at the moment. We’ve been in Kothagudem for years and have worked on all sorts of projects for the local mines and factories. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we always have a radio playing somewhere in the background. We don't put much stock in appearances; we care more about whether the welds are strong and the measurements are right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job that needs to go out the next morning. It’s a messy, hot environment, but there’s a certain satisfaction in making something with your own hands. Our neighbors know us well, and we often help each other out with tools or advice. We don't have any big mission statements, just a bunch of guys who are good with their hands and enjoy the work. We keep things local and keep things honest, every single day.
