Citizen School

Citizen Schools is a national nonprofit organization that partners with middle schools to expand the learning day for students in low-income communities. By mobilizing a team of AmeriCorps educators, volunteers, and community partners, Citizen Schools provides hands-on learning experiences, academic support, and mentorship to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Through a combination of in-school and after-school programming, Citizen Schools aims to close the opportunity gap and empower students to reach their full potential.
