Shri Siddhivinayak Children Hospital

Shri Siddhivinayak Children Hospital is situated near Janam Road in the Chande Colony area. We are right by the Saai Hospital and Bal Rugnalaya Cardiac Care, so there are quite a few medical places on this stretch. Being a place for kids, things are rarely quiet here. You can usually hear a child crying or someone trying to distract a toddler with a toy. The walls have some simple decorations to make it look a bit less scary for the little ones. Chande Colony is a busy part of the neighborhood, and the street outside always has people coming and going. We share the area with Chande Hospital as well. Our daily routine involves a lot of weighing babies and checking heights and listening to lungs. The waiting room often has strollers parked in the corner and bags full of diapers and bottles. It can get a bit messy on busy days, but we do our best to keep up. The staff here is used to the chaos that comes with working with children. We don't have any grand statements to make about what we do; we just show up, open the doors, and help the parents who bring their kids in. It’s hard work, and sometimes the days feel very long, but it’s just what happens when you run a hospital for children in a place like this near Janam Road. We just keep doing what needs to be done every single day.
