We are located on Shegaon Road in the Varkhed area of Khamgaon. If you know the Buldhana district, you probably know how the road looks heading out towards Shegaon. The school is right there, easily accessible for anyone living in this part of town. It’s a practical building, nothing too fancy to look at, but it gets the job done for the kids who come here every day. We spend our mornings getting the classrooms ready and making sure the chalk and registers are where they should be. The sun can get quite hot in this part of the state, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as possible during the afternoon. There is a lot of dust from the road sometimes, so there is plenty of sweeping involved in our daily routine. We don’t have a big team of people, just a few of us making sure things run smoothly. The families around here are mostly working people, and they appreciate having a place like this nearby for their children. We keep a close eye on the calendar for local festivals and holidays, as those are the times when the school gets quiet. Otherwise, it’s a lot of noise and activity from morning until the late afternoon. It’s just a normal part of life here in Khamgaon, working and teaching in our own small way. It is a simple life we lead at this school.
