Stermone Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is located on Subhash Street in Nana Kalodara. That’s in the Khambhat Taluka of the Anand district. It’s a small village area, so it’s much quieter than the big industrial hubs. The air is a bit clearer here, though we are still surrounded by the usual dust of the countryside. Our building is a simple one-story setup. We have a few rooms for the office and the rest is for storage and handling. Most of the people working here are from the local village or just a short bus ride away. We start our day early when it’s still cool. The routine is pretty much the same every day: check the mail, see what needs to be shipped, and talk to the transporters. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. The street is narrow, so we have to be careful when the larger trucks come in. Sometimes we sit outside on the benches during our break to catch the breeze. It’s a very relaxed pace compared to the city, but we still have plenty of work to keep us busy. We handle the chemicals carefully and keep our records in thick binders. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. No one wears suits here; it’s just plain clothes and practical work for everyone involved in the day-to-day operations.
