Our place is out in Village Lunej, near Ambica Chemicals. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main parts of Khambhat, but it’s where the work happens. Being out here in District Anand gives us plenty of space to handle the chemicals and petrochem stuff we deal with. It’s a more rural area, so you see a lot of fields on the way in. The facility at No. 293 is mostly industrial. We have big tanks and pipes and a lot of safety gear everywhere. It’s not a quiet office job; there’s always some machine running or a truck backing in. The crew here is used to the heat, which can get pretty intense during the summer months. We mostly stick to ourselves and get the production going. Sometimes you can hear the birds in the morning before the noise of the day starts up. We’ve got a small break area where we eat our tiffin together. It’s a tight-knit group because we’re a bit far from the city. We take the work seriously because of what we handle, but the atmosphere is pretty relaxed among the staff. We’ve been a part of the Lunej landscape for years now. It’s just honest industrial work in the heart of the village area. We don't have many visitors, but the locals know us well enough. We just keep the wheels turning day after day without too much fuss.
