Our place is located at Plot No. 70/1 in the GIDC area of Kansari, over in Khambhat. If you’ve been to this part of the state, you know the industrial zones have a specific kind of feel to them. It’s mostly factories and workshops around here, so there is always a bit of noise from the neighboring units. Our building is a simple structure that’s built for work, not for looking pretty. Inside, we have our equipment and a small space for the administrative side of things. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve got a steady rhythm going. The summers get really hot in Khambhat, and the warehouse can feel like an oven sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don't have any big speeches or mission statements posted on the walls. We just focus on getting the daily orders processed and making sure everything is packed correctly. The roads inside the GIDC can be a bit rough, especially when the monsoon hits and the puddles start to form. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break area we set up in the corner. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but it’s what we know how to do. We just stay busy and try to do an honest job every day we’re here.
