Agate Cambay / Sajid Gems

You can find us over on Lal Darwaja Road, right in the Pith Bazar area. We’re sitting just opposite the Udasi Bava Mandir, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you know the local landmarks. At Agate Cambay, also known as Sajid Gems, we spend our days working with all sorts of stones and agates. This part of town gets a lot of foot traffic, especially with the temple right there. It’s a lively place to work, though it can get noisy at times. We aren't a big corporation with polished offices and shiny floors. It’s just us in the shop, surrounded by bags and boxes of gems. We do a lot of the sorting and checking ourselves. If someone needs a specific kind of stone or a bead for a project, they usually come and sit with us for a bit while we look through what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty from all the raw stones, but that’s just how the business is. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their friends and family. We don't use fancy sales talk or pushy tactics. We just show the stones as they are and let people choose. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the community. If you’re walking down toward the Mandir, you’ll see our place.
