Sidra Ice Cream

If you head down Khalilabad Road, you will find us in Village Dhan Ghata. We are in the Tehsil Ghanghata area, which is a quiet spot most of the time. The shop is quite close to the police station, so it feels like a safe corner of the village. We started Sidra Ice Cream because we wanted to have something of our own here. It is not a large operation. We have a few freezers and a counter. The village life is slow, and we like it that way. Most of our customers are people we see every day at the market or walking their kids home. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. Sometimes the road gets muddy after the rain, and it slows things down quite a bit. We spend time keeping the place tidy. It’s important because the dust can get everywhere when the wind picks up. We try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves disappointed. It is a simple life running a shop in Dhan Ghata. We talk to the neighbors and watch the traffic go by on the road to Khalilabad. Sometimes the cows wander past the front door. It’s just how things are in our village. We don't need much more than a good cooling system and some regular visitors. It keeps us busy enough throughout the year. We just do our best to stay open every day for the community.
