New Ludhiyan Glass

New Ludhiyan Glass is located in Sant Kabir Nagar. We are pretty close to Kishor Dharamsala and the Khalilabad Bus Stand, so there are always people walking past the shop. Working with glass is a bit different than other materials because you have to be so careful all the time. One wrong move and something breaks. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack the sheets of glass against the walls. We have some old cutting tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. The area around the bus stand is always noisy with conductors shouting and engines idling, but we don't mind it much. It makes the day go by faster. We usually have the radio playing in the back to drown out some of the street noise. People from the nearby villages often stop by when they come into town for the market. We spend our time measuring twice and cutting once, trying not to waste anything. The floor is covered in tiny bits of glass so we have to sweep up constantly. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve gotten to know the regular commuters and the other shopkeepers in Sant Kabir Nagar. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything, people just know we are here by the bus stand. It is a simple shop and we just take each day as it comes until closing time.
