Hira Lal Ram Niwas Pg College is located right on the NH 28 in Khalilabad. If you are driving on the highway, you have probably passed by us many times. It is a big, solid building that stands out because of its size. Since we are a post-graduate college, the students here are a bit older and more focused on their higher degrees. The location on the highway makes it easy for people coming from different parts of the district to get here by bus. You can always hear the sound of the trucks and traffic from the road, which is something we have all just gotten used to over the years. We have quite a few departments, so there is always a lot of movement in the corridors. The staff room is a busy place where we drink tea and talk about the upcoming exams or the new admissions. We don't use any corporate language or pretend to be something we aren't. It is just a regular college where we try to keep the fans running and the lights on for the students. There are some trees around the grounds where people hang out when they have a break between lectures. We don't have a marketing budget or any fancy brochures. Most people come here because they know the name and it is a convenient place to study after finishing their basic graduation. It is just an everyday part of Khalilabad life.
