This whole thing is basically run by people who have lived in this dirt for their entire lives. We don't have any fancy suits or big corporate talk here. Most of our meetings happen sitting on a porch or out in the fields near Khalapur. We decided to come together as a group because farming alone is getting harder every year. There are a lot of small details to worry about, from the seeds to the transport. We try to help each other out with these things so nobody gets left behind. The rain hasn't been very kind lately, but we are still out there working. We focus on the daily tasks of growing and selling what we can. It’s not always pretty work, and our hands are usually dirty, but it is honest. People in the village know us as neighbors first. We don’t have a big marketing department, just a few phones and some local connections. We spend our time checking on the crops and making sure the supplies are ready. It is just a local group of farmers trying to make things work in our corner of the world. We stay busy with the land and the seasons, which is all we really know how to do.
