Sinter Plant Operation Of Ispat Industries Ltd

We’ve been running the sinter plant operation of Ispat Industries Ltd for a while now. Most of the guys here live right in the R.C.F. Colony in Kurul, so we’re all pretty close neighbors. It is a busy place with a lot of noise and heat from the machines, but that is just how the day goes. You walk out of A 12/7 and you are pretty much at work within a few minutes. Maharashtra can get really hot in the summer, and the plant doesn't make it any cooler, so we drink a lot of water and try to keep things moving. It isn't a fancy office job. We deal with raw materials and getting the sinter ready for the next step of the steel process. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them fast. There is always someone around the colony if you need a hand with something after the shift ends. It is a simple setup really. We don’t have much to show off about, just the daily work we do to keep the plant going. Living and working in the same spot means work and life kind of blend together. We know each other's families and what is happening in the neighborhood. It is just us doing what we need to do to keep the operation steady every day. We aren't trying to be anything other than a working plant. That is basically the long and short of it here in Kurul.
