You can find our place at 43/2B on the Savroli-Kharpada Road out in Dhamani. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the space we have. We deal with hoists and heavy lifting equipment, so we need the room for the big machinery and the parts we keep in stock. The air is a bit clearer here than in the middle of the city, though it gets quite hot in the summer months. Our facility is pretty large, and you’ll usually hear the sound of metal or the hum of a forklift if you walk through the doors. We have a lot of people working here who know exactly how these machines work inside and out. It’s not a fancy place with polished floors; it’s a working warehouse and factory area where things get a bit greasy sometimes. We have a small office section where the paperwork gets handled, but the heart of the business is out in the shop. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages and towns, so there is a lot of local talk during the tea breaks. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make and move hoists for people who need them. It’s heavy work and it takes a lot of focus, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. We just keep the gates open and stay focused on the tasks for the week.
