We are located at No. 10 M. P. T. Facilitation Interpretation Centre. It is a pretty well-known spot here in Khajuraho, especially for people who are just arriving and trying to find their way around. Our business, Madhya Pradesh Travel Services Khajuraho, has been running from this office for a good number of years now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We spend our days mostly answering the phone and talking to travelers who wander in from the interpretation centre. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Khajuraho heat, but we make do. We don’t have a huge team or a big marketing budget. It is mostly just a couple of us who know the local area and the train schedules. We help people figure out how to get to the temples or book a car for the next leg of their journey. It can get a bit loud outside when the tour buses arrive, but that is just part of being in this location. We don’t try to sell people on things they don’t need. We just give them the facts about the roads and the prices. It’s a practical way to run a business. We have seen a lot of people come through these doors from all over the world. Most of the time, we are just happy to help someone get to their destination without too much trouble.
