Aarif Clinic

Aarif Clinic is a small place located in Tejpur Jawan. It is right in the Jawan area, so it is easy for the locals to walk over. The clinic is just a couple of rooms in a modest building. We have a desk where the doctor sits and a couple of benches for people who are waiting to be seen. It’s not a big fancy hospital, just a local clinic for regular checkups and small things. The walls are a light blue color, though they could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let a breeze in, but we have to close them when the trucks go by and kick up the dirt. There is a small cupboard where we keep the basic medicines and supplies. Tejpur Jawan is a close-knit place, so we usually know the families who come in. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us to keep things moving. The floor is concrete, which makes it easy to sweep out at the end of the day. We have a small sign outside so people don't miss the turn. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly talking to neighbors and helping out with whatever they need. We keep a ledger for all the visits and try to stay on top of the cleaning. It’s a simple, honest little clinic for the neighborhood.
