Sanjay General Store

Sanjay General Store is located in Ward No. 7 of Samastipur village. We are out in the Khagaria district, right near the Durga Mandir. Having the temple so close means we see a lot of people, especially during the festival times when things get very crowded. We are a small village shop and we’ve been here for a long time. We sell the kind of things that families need for their kitchens and homes. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or air conditioning. It’s just a simple room with wooden shelves and a counter. We don't have a big team of workers, just a couple of us who take turns watching the store. We know everyone in Ward No. 7 and they know us. Most days are pretty quiet, and we spend our time talking to the neighbors who stop by. We don't use any marketing tricks to get people to buy things. They know what they need and they know we have it. We write down our sales in a big book and keep things as simple as possible. It’s an honest way to live in a village like Samastipur. We don't have a phone in the shop, so people just have to come by if they want to talk to us. We like it that way because it keeps things personal and friendly.
