We are over here in Singhia Samastipur. It's a small place, House No 7 in Ward 3. People around here know us. We deal with money matters for the farmers and local folks around Singhia Buzurg Tola. It's not a big fancy office or anything. Just a spot where you can come and talk about your savings. We've been at this address for a while now. Bihar weather gets tough but the office stays open even when it is raining hard. Sometimes it’s dusty because of the road work nearby. We help with small loans and keeping cash safe for the families in the village. Most of our members are just people from the next street over or just a short walk away. We don't have those shiny brochures you see in the city. Just some notebooks and a desk. If you're looking for us, look for the green gate near the corner. It's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. We spend our mornings checking the paperwork and talking to people who drop by after their chores. It’s quiet usually, except when it’s market day. We wanted to have a place where locals don't feel nervous about walking in with their muddy boots. That’s why we stayed here in the Tola instead of moving to the main town center. It works out better for everyone that way and we feel like we really belong to this neighborhood.
