Manoj And Santosh Social Aid Foundation

This foundation is run by Manoj Kumar Singh and Santosh from a place in Village Olapur, specifically in Tola-Gangaur in the Khagaria district. It’s not a corporate setup at all. The office is basically just a part of Manoj’s house where we’ve set up some desks and a few chairs. We don't have a staff of people in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us and sometimes a few volunteers from the village. We spend a lot of our time helping people with the kind of small problems that can become big ones if nobody pays attention. Khagaria can be a tough place to live sometimes, especially when the weather is bad, so we try to be a steady presence for our neighbors. We don't have a lot of money to throw around, so we focus on giving our time and helping people figure out how to get the aid they are entitled to. It’s a lot of sitting around and talking through things, often over a cup of tea or some snacks. The room is usually a bit of a mess with papers everywhere, and there’s always a bit of dust because we are right near the village road. We don't mind it, though. We’re just regular guys who wanted to do something useful for our own people. If you’re ever in Olapur, you can just ask for Manoj’s place and someone will show you the way.
